Vindhyachal Hydro Power Pvt. Ltd. (VHPPL) is a private limited company established to promote generation of small hydro power plants in India. The Company was incorporated in 1997 and since then it has set up two small hydro power plants in Maharashtra, namely Vajra and Chaskaman.

The Vajra Fall plant is a 3 MW plant which is near Village Sarlambe, Taluka Shahapur in Dist. Thane on river Bhatsa about 100 km's from Mumbai and Chaskaman plant is also a 3 MW plant which is at Village Bibi, Taluka Rajgurunagar, Dist. Pune at the foot of Chaskaman Dam about 100 km's from Pune.

The Vajra Fall plant was commissioned in February 2002 and Chaskaman plant was commissioned in June 2002 and generate about 26 million units of energy per annum collectively.

The power from these plants is supplied to M/s. Tata Consultancy Services, a multinational software company operating in various parts of India and abroad.

DSL Hydrowatt Private Limited, a subsidary of VHPPL has set up Sarbari – I and Sarbari - II small hydropower projects in kullu district on Sarbari Khad in Himachal Pradesh.

Sarbari – I SHP is of 4.5 MW capacity plant, commenced it's operation from 17th May 2008 and generates about 33 million units of energy per annum.
Sarbari – II SHP is of 5.4 MW capacity plant, commenced it's operation from 25th August 2010 and also generates about 33 million units of energy per annum.

Darjeeling Power Private Limited another subsidary company of VHPPL has setup a 3 MW capacity Shaung SHP in Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh.
The plant commenced its operation from 15th April 2016 and is expected to generate about 24 million units of energy per annum.

The company is headed by Shri. Shrikant Somani as Managing Director and supported by other professionals.
